  1. I admire your looseness and the way you are definitely using volumes to build your subjects. My favorite bits about this post would be the right foot of the guy walking in the second page, the woman walking with the hat on, and the big guy sitting and leaning. You do a great job in capturing movement (the woman on the bottom right, and all the walks), and one thing that might help you that I know I am going to try and use next session is putting lines of actions through everyone first, to help capture the gesture faster.

  2. the proportions in your drawings keeps improving, and I like that you have gone after more poses of movement. The woman walking on the top right of page 2 has a great contrast of tilt between her shoulders and hips. I think you could work on exaggerating some of these poses more though.

  3. I like the different types of poses you chose. I think you should try to have a background for all of your sketches instead of some of them.

  4. Matt,
I like the approach you are taking to all of these poses. In some of these, there is a really solid sense of form, proportion, as well as gesture. Continue to refine your choices when laying in more finished (darker) marks to define the drawing.
Also, developing hands and faces more would benefit all these drawings... but please stay light and loose to begin.

    Well done.
